It costs €0.50 (¥3.86) for a single entry and you can purchase as many entries as you like. The game is exclusively available online via your computer, tablet or smartphone, so it is always easy to play at a time that suits you. Follow the steps below to take part.
Go to the Play Lotto China page. Choose five numbers between 1 and 50 and one Fú Ball between 1 and 5. You can pick up to four sets of numbers in one go. Alternatively, you can select the ‘Quick Pick’ option next to each form to generate a random entry. Once you’ve picked your numbers, hit the button that says ‘Choose These Numbers.’
On the next page choose whether you want to enter one draw or subscribe to future draws. You can subscribe to one month or three months’ worth of draws at a time – the subscription will automatically renew at the end of this period so you never miss a draw. Draws take place at 16:30 CET every Tuesday and Friday.
Select ‘Add to Cart’ and check that all the information looks correct. When you are ready to complete the purchase of your numbers, hit the ‘Pay’ button. You will need to register for an online account if you are a new user. Existing players just need to log in to complete the checkout process.
You will receive confirmation of your order when you play, then you can just sit back and wait for the results. You will be notified if you win, but you can also take a look at the results straight after every draw. Alternatively, use the ticket checker to see how many numbers you’ve matched.
To win the jackpot, the six numbers you select – plus the Fú Ball – must all match up with the winning numbers. The top prize is worth a minimum of €500,000 (¥3.86 Million) in every draw. You can also win prizes for matching just the Fú Ball or two main numbers. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3 and the odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 79,453,500.
